PROS: attractive, safe/well-cushioned, 2 colors, easy to clean, durable CONS: a bit pricey, wish it was larger We've had this mat (actually 2 of them) for over a month now for our baby's play area, and so far, it's held up great. This is what our baby plays on for most of the day and it is very soft and cushiony even though it's only about a 1/2 inch thick. She hasn't learned how to sit up properly yet, so she's constantly falling over on her head, and the mat is soft enough to absorb the impact. The mat is very easy to clean. We use a lint roller to pick up hair and dust from it, and then we wipe it down with wet wipes. Cleanup just takes a minute or two, and then it's ready to go again. I also like that there are 2 different colors, white and gray (I only took pictures of the white side) so you can choose which color you want to show. I chose to have the white side up because it makes it easier to spot hair and debris when we're cleaning it. As far as durability goes, we've only had it for a month, but so far it seems like it's constructed very well and should hold up. I'll update this review if we have any problems with the durability of the mat. There are only 2 negatives that I can think of. First of all, it's kind of expensive for what it is- just a foam mat. I guess value is subjective, but I'm sure there are cheaper options out there that will perform well. Second, the mat could be a bit larger. Our baby is just in the crawling stage, but one mat is not large enough for her to explore the area. We got 2 and put them together, then surrounded the mats with a gate, and this seems like a perfect size area for a baby to crawl around and explore. Anyway, this is overall a very good product and if you can afford to pick up two of them, that's what I would suggest. Obviously, everyone's needs are different, and you may not use yours the way we use ours, but we are really happy with our setup. 5 stars for now. Will update after a few months.
