My past hose was cheap and I had been struggling with it for years. It was constantly kinking and tangling. Worked okay, but it was always a chore. It was time for something new. This expandable hose from TBI is awesome. It's fills right up and expands. You can see my video. The ease of working with this hose compared to a rubber hose is night and day! As far as weight is concerned, it is very light, maybe a few pounds. My elderly neighbor had no problems picking it up and moving it. No kinking at all and no tangling, it can even be in a big piled up mess and I can walk away with the hose end and it extends and nothing gets tangled or caught up. Love that I can walk around with the end with ease. I saw some reviews were concerned with water pressure, I can't say I have that issue. I seem to be getting better pressure and I believe that is because the diameter of the expandable hose is smaller than my old rubber hose. As for storage, I'm using a 5 gallon bucket and it works perfect. I just take a part closest to the spigot and coil it inside the bucket. The 5 gallon bucket may be a bit excessive for 100 ft, you could easily get away with something smaller. To sum things up, if you are dealing with an old rubber hose, it's time to change it up to the new tech. This new expandable hose is awesome!
