Keeps the heat out
I have a Grand Caravan. The cover has lots of magnets on it which is good. It's not quite tall enough to cover my entire windshield but it does go to the windshield wipers where the magnets hold it in place. I live in a VERY hot climate and this helps keep the sun off my windshield making my van cooler.
