Great thing to have for saving toilet paper
I installed the bidet attachment according to the instructions yesterday and had no apparent leaks. Then today, I noticed a leak at the T fitting into the bottom of the tank. I shut off the water valve and tried tightening the bolt where it connects at the bottom of the tank then turned the water back on, only to continue having the problem with the leak. Has anyone figured experienced a similar problem? Yes, I did install the rubber washer with the narrow side pointed upwards towards the bottom of the tank, just like the instructions said.
Update: After doing some research, I learned that you don't need to use teflon tape if to have a fitting that has a gasket (rubber washer) . Therefore, the pipe at the bottom of the tank does not need to be wrapped with teflon tape. I had originally wrapped the pipe threads, which caused the gasket in the t adapter not to be able to seal properly. After I removed the teflon tape from the pipe and reconnected everything, the leak issue was fixed. No more leak.
