I originally installed this because I wanted a child lock for my son. I choose it because it worked as a child safety lock and added some protection from intruders. Well, I am very glad I did now. The video I uploaded is my house. As of my writing of this, this event happened 5 days ago. The first guy's kick was kinda weak but the second guy has some ass behind it. The Home Security Door Lock is what held my door. The doorknob lock and the deadbolt were busted in the door frame. I am so thankful that I installed this on our door. My new door now has two of them on it. One at the top and one lower on the door. They are great for child safety and the safety of your home. One side note. The screws they send with it, throw them in the trash. Get yourself some good 3 inch long ones and install it with those. That's what I did.
