this product is NON TOXIC and SAFE TO USE AROUND CHILDREN AND PETS! i had a bad infestation from a druggie neighbor who died of an OD all the bugs in their apartment migrated after her apartment was cleaned out it was bad .. and of the roach variety (german roaches to be exact the worst kind to get) it was bad .. i would wake up to them running across my face while i slept .. i would see them everywhere .. i was loosing my mind.. on top of that i have rescue cats 8 at the time (7 now one was very sick with congestive heart failure and passed in november) i couldnt use anything toxic .. especially with the sick cat in the house.. i got this product after researching DE .. i covered everything in my apartment .. i went HAM with this product .. (seriously .... out of 10 pounds i used 8 pounds of it .. every where .. it looks like 8 pounds of cocaine exploded in my apartmenti put in it drawers cupboards tv stands in and on everything .. it was on the floors the walls coating everything ..) at first it didnt seem to be working .. the little bastards would still be running everywhere .. then .. i started seeing them in the cats water bowls swimming around .. (a side effect of te DE .. they were seeking out water cause the DE was working) i caught a few in some old pill bottles to carry out experiments on ..putting some DE in the bottle with them and seeing how long direct exposure would take to kill them .. it took around an hour to two to kill with direct contact .. after about a week of covering my apartment with the DE i started seeing less .. with the few i did see trying to or already in water sources.. but then .. a week later .. i didnt see any at all .. i thought ok i give it a day or two to see if i see ANY before declaring victory .. 2 days 3 days 4 days .. a week .. two weeks .. a month .. NONE ! .. i have not seen any in more than a month they are gone .. this stuff is a miracle cure .. i have seen many professional exterminators talking trash on food grade DE and i now know why .. this product can put them out of business .. and they know it but they dont want you to know it .. the key is to use FOOD GRADE (this very product) it cuts the bugs (no matter what kind) .. if you know what the Chinese Torture of 1000 Cuts is ? that is what this product does to bug, incets, spiders , fleas anything in the group of pests.. but its totally safe for people and animals .. as a matter of fact its beneficial to both animals and people.. you can use this product to treat your pets for worms, and it helps maintain help with people since its 100% silica which is vital to living beings .. 100% recommended !
