I got these because I made the mistake last year of getting super long ethernet cables. I felt like a deal plus I thought it'd be better to go longer and have the option of the length rather than go shorter. It turned out to be too long with the cable getting twisted up badly when I have to wind it up. These are great. 10 feet long is neither too short nor too long. They also tangle way less than my longer ones and are more portable if I need to take it with me anywhere with my laptop. Price seems decent, too.
