Nice little handy curlers even for thick hair
I have very thick hair and have a lot of it. I wasn't sure if I should get 30 or 20 rollers. However, I decided to go with a smaller one because I just need some volume on top of my hair. To my surprise I can roll all my hair with these 10 rollers! My hair length is about collar bone. If my hair grows much longer and if I need more rollers, I'll just buy another set of these. I paid $14 for a set at Target. Target has them as "Curl Envy" with the same model number.
By the way when I tried to use them for the first time, I noticed that a couple of rollers were not heating up. When I take a closer look, I found them just sitting on the plugs. All rollers need to be snapped into the plugs in order to heat up. After I fixed that problem, it was fine.
Update 8/4/2016
I'm going back and forth with this set and Babyliss Jumbo Roller Set. Babyliss Jumbo Rollers gives waves and blow-dried look. This Remington Compact Rollers give more curls and works better with shorter hair. However, the Remington rollers are not flocked (note covered with fabric) so they could get very hot. I unplug the set when I start putting the rollers on. Still this is a great little set with the biggest bang for the buck.
