This is my first singing bowl. I figured out how to make the bowl sing pretty quickly. I like that the wooden striking rod has a soft suede texture as it makes the tone smooth instead of just the wooden vibrations of many handles I've played with. The etchings are pretty and the small pillow does the job nicely. There were some instructions on how to take care of the bowl that were easy to read. I only wish it maybe came with a storage box or bag, but I'm very happy with the bowl itself.
