This was *exactly* what I needed. I live on 10th floor in NYC. pigeons here are tough, they're used to humans. After installing my AC again for the summer at the window, the pigeons found a nice place to poop into. Awesome when you need to turn it on and a piece of it flies out the vent... You get point. Got this thing because spikes looked cruel and didn't want one of these poop factories impale itself and die on my window. I didn't think it would work, but now that I look at it, it makes sense: it's constantly moves in the wind, reflecting light, making them think it's me flailing my hands in anger. What I did is to fasten 3 pieces from the top of the screen using folder binders. I trapped them between the screen and the glass. Wind still moves them, but not to the point of having them flap hard and make noise and damage them (look closely at the right one a day you'll see wind damage, 10 story winds is no joke...) It workds. Not a single pidgin since installation.
