Good Enough as an Economical Choice
I bought this walking desk treadmill for a very low price, about the cheapest you can get for the desk kind (no handlebars). Pros: Inexpensive Typical treadmill noise level Very lightweight (compared to other models) Display is easy to read and remote is functional Cons: Incline isn't adjustable and is set at 5% (I think). This was a little steep for walking on for hours a day, and made my ankles ache. I placed a board under the back to make it nearly flat. This also means it doesn't get any steeper if you want that. Included silicone lubricant is insuffient (1 fl oz). Since the belt is dry, you really need more like 2 oz. It also has these instructions to smear it all over the platform where the belt is, which is impossible to do because there is no included hose applicator. I bought another bottle with an applicator, and I'd recommend ordering one to use right away (after you use the new bottle, empty their crappy bottle into the one with the applicator). If you let the treadmill hit 100 minutes, it turns off, and immediately sets all the data to zeros, so you can't see what the end of your workout said. The thing beeps A LOT and is very loud. 5 beeps to turn it on, and another beep every time you adjust it by .1 mph. Not suitable for an office environment. I also cannot find the manufacturer's website or an online version of their manual. So better not lose your manual! Bottom line is, if you see this for a good price, and are OK with the beeping and incline, I'd recommend it.
