I downloaded this game after seeing a Kindle ad and have fallen in love with it. But like any relationship, there are gonna be rocks on the road. And with Tyrant Unleashed, there's a particularly pointy one that shows up a bit too suddenly: the paywall. The daily bonuses are great and the Game itself is pretty tight with awesome aesthetics (which are an amalgam of all my favorite sci-fi trope factions; generic human empire, cyberpunk rebels, pointy red-black aliens, gooey virus-monsters, and Designed-by-Apple fanatics). The game rules are great, simple, and the flow of the app is most ricky-tick. But like I said before, the paywall is a bit too harsh. And the other avenues of getting War Bonds are way too obscure or difficult to achieve without shelling out some cash. Great game, but a slight in-app price decrease would make it perfect. Especially since there's plenty of those cracked-phone cheaters who undermine the paywall and sneak their way to an unbeatable top.
