This cap helped soften and moisturize my hair! Many people wrote reviews on how the gel cap exploded. I only used it once, but seeing these reviews made me more cautious on how long I put the cap in the microwave. I put it in for 60 seconds but in two intervals of 30 seconds each and not all at once. The cap heated up fine and I had no problems. Overall, pretty solid tool for deep conditioning! (P.S. I used the Not Your Mother’s Naturals Green Apple and Matcha Butter Deep Conditioning Masque, it’s amazing for hydration and definition!!)
