Delivery was sooner than I expected. Product was adequately packed ensuring no damage. The product is substantial as described. My first reaction (and hence the 4 stars) was that the cups were a lot smaller than I imagined. I washed the product prior to use as instructed and poached two large eggs which filled the cups. I doubt very much that extra large eggs would be OK as the large eggs filled the cups to the brim. Another reason for the 4* is that it was difficult to place the cups in the holder without spillage. I believe this could be avoided if the cups were placed in the holder prior to putting the holder in the pan and I will adopt this method next time. On the whole I am satisfied with the product and would recommend it with the caveat that it may not work with extra large eggs. The eggs, by the way, were wonderful. I cooked for 6 minutes and produced firm whites and soft yolks. UPDATE: Having used this for some time now (usually 4 eggs, three times a week), I can add the following. I have started to put the eggs in the cups (within the cup holder) and then picking up the whole unit with the large handle and placing it in the pan (Hope that makes sense). I also spray each cup with a vegetable/canola oil before breaking the eggs. (I forgot once and the eggs would not come out with out breaking). I have also amended the cooking time and method. I boil the water before placing the cup holder with the eggs into the pan. I then reduce the heat to #3 setting, which I assume is 30% of the High setting. This setting yields a gentle boil rather than a simmer. I then cook for 5 minutes for a runny yoke, 5.5 minutes for a semi-runny yoke and 6 minutes for a firm yoke. I really do like this product.
