I purchased this box regardless after I saw so many bad reviews because I am hardheaded and will do anything to spruce things up. First. I used Tidy Cat Clumping multicat litter (4 cats) by the way. Before I put any litter in the pan, I sprayed the pan with pam then put a thin layer of baking soda on top of the spray so there is no clumping on the bottom of the pan when my cats do their business.. Then I fill the litter to the max fill line and turn the unit on and everything works perfect! No clumping, no odors, and very little litter spillage (which I put a pee pad on the bottom of the paw cleaner just in case) This litterbox has saved me a lot of time and clean up and works great! Did I mention I had 4 cats?? I only gave this product 4 stars out of 5 because it comes with everything but kitty litter. Other than that, I do recommend this product! Especially for working folks like me who is gone morning til night and can come home to a litterbox smell free home!
