I received this yesterday, and I am impressed with this unit. I have had several portable air conditioners from other well known brands, and this one is better. Puts out little water (and I am in Florida), and is pretty quiet. I have a hard time telling when the compressor is on, it is that quiet, compared to other units I have had, where there is a big "ka-chunk" sound when the compressor turns on. And it keeps a nice size room crispy cool. Give this one a try, I was pleasantly surprised.
