Our Rice Recipe
We LOVE our rice cooker, and it makes AH-MAZING tadiq, but it did take awhile for us to get the recipe and proportions correct, so I thought I'd post the info here for those folks that might be interested. The recipes below are for using 1.5, 2, and 3 cups of dried rice at sea-level. If you need larger proportions, you'll need to experiment yourself. Cook time is 1hr 15 min. The timer only goes to 1 hr, so you just have to add 15 min at some point during the cooking. We also do not use the included plastic rice measuring cup, which is smaller than a standard cup; use a standard size measuring cup. Lastly, we rinse our rice until the water runs clear before putting it in the cooker.
