When my oldest cat was a kitten I went to petsmart and bought one of their cat nail clippers. I returned it the next day because it wouldn't get his nails...it would just squish them, and would not cut through the nail whatsoever. So I've been using a regular human nail clipper, which unfortunately would smash the nail but at least it would cut through. Well I recently adopted two new kittens and decided to give something else a try. I'm completely surprised that this item doesn't have more reviews. The cats don't even noticed I'm clipping their nails, it's fast and does not smash the nail at all it cuts through precisely, even with the kitten's skinny little claws This is amazing, I don't have to fight with my cats to get their nails clipped! Definitely worth buying. It's small and easy to handle/store. It is also sturdy and hasn't failed me yet! :)
