Contrary to previous reviews, these ARE authentic 3M masks if they are Sold by Amazon.com. I can't speak to the other third party sellers since I didn't buy from them. The lot code on the box does not match the masks, so I emailed 3M about this and received this response: "Here is an explanation as to why the lot number on the product is different from the lot number printed on the box: The lot number that is printed on the respirator is added to the product when it is made at our manufacturing plant. For example, the 21 is the year (2021) and the 139 is the Julian Date (May 19). The lot number on the primary box is lasered when the product is placed into the box. For example, the lot number 17221 was packed out June 21, 2021. We have traceability controls in place when we pack out the boxes to know what respirator lots numbers got into each. * For the 20 pack, the lot information is lasered on the bottom of the box, near the storage conditions. * For the 10 pack and the 3 pack, the lot information is lasered on the back of the box by the UPC symbol on the back of the package." I bought the same item from one of the "big box" hardware stores, and the masks and box looked identical to the ones purchased here. As for the masks, they're more comfortable than the 8210 masks and seem really well made.
