I bought this pen and could not get the ink to flow. Amazon very kindly replaced it at no cost. However, the second pen also simply did not write. There is no flow from the inkwell to the nib. For less than $10, I suppose these kinds of items are always a guess, but disappointing nonetheless. I won't return the second one, as have simply learned my lesson and will move on. THAT'S WHAT I WANTED TO WRITE BUT: i had a friend take a look and he found out that I hadn't actually "seated" the ink cartridge properly. It takes some force! You have to actually press down until you feel or hear a pop and then you know that the cartridge is seated and the ink will flow. If it weren't for the difficulty of figuring out how to push down hard on the cartridge to get it to penetrate the ink well, I would have given 5 stars.
