Only buzzed my little guy a couple times with this and he's immediately stopped (once barking incessantly at people walking by (dude, we're in a second story apartment, they're not invading) and once while being overly aggressive with his older companion - there's being a playful puppy and there's having a temper tantrum, this was definitely tantrum territory) and come to me for a quick snuggle and redirection. UPDATE: 10/30/19 - The puppy's now a grown up and we still keep this on hand. Works beautifully! At this point (and without a ton of button pressing) I just hold it up and ask him if he wants "buzzed" and he immediately calms down. He knows what it is, he knows what it does, and he knows if mom has it in hand he's doing something he's not supposed to. Highly recommend and I tell everyone about it. Now to just get the little guy to stop pulling like we're in the Iditarod (we all have something to work on LOL). He's a 9-month old 30lb mix of cocker-spaniel/chihuahua/mutt (he's adorable!!). My 10-year old 85lb lab mix turned her head, but didn't cower or seem otherwise distressed (she's a senior gal that seems to know it wasn't her being corrected). I did not lean on the button for any length of time, just a very brief buzz, long enough for the light to come on.
