We recently used this packable duffle on our 12 day Europe trip and it held up surprisingly well! We were quite impressed. Don't let the lightweight material fool you -- this bag held up nicely for us despite our long trans-Atlantic flights, domestic flights, and bullet train ride. We used it primarily to transport our laundry and footwear to free up space in our suitcase for souvenirs we had picked up along the way. We purchased the bag in bright pink so it would be easy to spot on the luggage carousel -- loved that it was so easy to spot! We also used the bag to carry our laundry to/from our hotel and the local laundromat -- was perfect for that, too! We wrapped the shoulder strap around the bag for additional support (i.e. like a baggage strap you'd buy separately for added support/prevent the bag from bursting open if overpacked and handled roughly). We would highly recommend this bag and am considering buying another one.
