Very Pleasantly Surprised!
I have tried other Sudoku games for the Kindle in the past and found them very difficult to work with in terms of of entering text and navigating the puzzles. This game was a pleasant surprise. Electronic Arts has come very close to recreating traditional play with pen and paper. The controls are logical and well thought out. If you are playing on a Kindle with no numbers, there is a legend that clearly shows what letter represents each number. It is also quite simple to navigate the puzzle. One of the best features is the ability to put notes in a cell as you work out where the numbers go. This is one feature that I found missing from other Sudoku games, especially computerized ones. The only improvement that I would like to see is the ability to mark an entire row or column instead of just one cell. I disagree totally with the review that states that all the games are easy. I tried various levels and there is definitely a jump in the difficulty from one level to the next. (For the record, I play frequently but am by no means a Sudoku master.) I own several computerized Sudoku games. For me, this is the best Sudoku game I have found so far. I highly recommend it to Sudoku fans.
