Other reviewers have said these masks are flimsy and not actually 5 layers—NOT SO. I sacrificed one of my masks and took a picture. You can clearly see 5 layers and they are as described; 2 layers are a blown material, one layer looks like thin cotton batting, the inside layer is thin but is very soft and non-irritating to the skin, and the outside has a fun, bright cosmic pattern. The nose clip makes it so the mask fits snuggly around the eye area (I wear glasses so this is greatly appreciated) and the ear loops are comfortable. My glasses still fog up if I talk, but don’t at all with regular breathing. It does have a slight odor that goes completely away if you open the package and air it out for an hour or two. It fits my broader jaw well (I’m Danish/German descent) and my husband’s longer, more narrow jawline (he’s GB descent). These are the Chinese version of N95 masks and are not for use in a medical setting in the US (NIOSH regulates N95s in the US) but are far superior to a cloth or surgical mask, especially in crowded areas like grocery stores, movie theaters, and church, etc, where so many are going unmasked despite the sharp uptick in Delta and Omicron variants.
