Just wanted to add that this was a huge hit over the holidays. I have certainly got my $$$ from this simple, maddening toy. Never found anyone who wasn't fascinated! Seems either you can work it or you can't? The d-i-l and the 6 yr old granddaughter would put it back in to a cube so the next person could try their luck. I can't recommend this highly enough. If you don't have one, please buy one now!!! After reading the reviews I decided (being part magpie and drawn to shiny things) that I must have this. IF I had not personally taken it out of the box and opened it I would not believe it could ever be a 3" cube. I made many shapes but seemed to excel at the pyramid. Wanting to make it go back to cube shape I tried App, website and YouTube videos..utterly useless, every one...nevermind it is fun to play with anyway and then, as I was doing so it suddenly sort of clicked and I was holding a 3" cube again. I have NO idea how that happened and now I have replaced it in the box, set in on the shelf, and I am eyeing it suspiciously :) It is a bit unnerving to have a toy smarter than I am :)..as to complaints about price: have you been shopping lately? As to durability: it says in what passes for instructions it says "if it doesn't flow, it doesn't go" so obviously if you force it then it could break. Duh! Otherwise I can't think how it could have problems. I do wish there were instructions on basic premise and how to return it to original cube shape..I do..since I am not well versed in geometry BUT I am glad I bought it. Great fun. Probably does an o-l-d lady good to feel stupid, right?
