This is exactly what I was shopping for. But, like so many others have mentioned, the open design on the red cage surrounding the heating element is an accident waiting to happen. I assume there's a reason?? So, my mind immediately sought a solution. I paid 2 dollars for snap-on rollers (1 1/8" size) and use the clip section to cover the open shaft. See photos. There's no sign of melting on the high heat setting. Plus, I can slide it up or down to position it where I choose. Works great!
