I have to say I was very impressed with this DVD Rom Drive; you just put a blank DVD in, Apple shows it as a blank disk, you put your files on it, then click burn. No need for Toast or any external DVD software; I just had a great technical support call from the company (who I left a message for and within an hour got a call back!), and they walked me through the process. He even told me that IDVD would burn movies (haven't tried that yet, but my need was to burn Data discs, so I'll try that next I guess when I get a free minute). It's plug and play, but the only thing that got me was that I was used to a CD of drivers and software to install, but had I put in a blank DVD, I would have figured this all out and saved the Customer Service Rep a call, so that was my mistake really. Has nothing to do with the company or their product at all. Needless to say they get my recommendation to buy their product; you won't be disappointed. The only thing I'd say is that it requires OSX 10.4 or better (I'm running Snow Leopard so it's fine) and my DVD is just burning away nicely while I'm typing this review. :)
