Had to spend a minute to post this after I received mine. Apple makes a nice keyboard in the magic keyboard, but it's vastly limited. It has no protection for the ipad, if you want to use it as a tablet you have to rip it off the stand and then it has no case. It's also $350 which is ridiculous. It's limited in the angle you can use it at as well. Heck, the apple keyboard doesn't even have the function keys. Only get the magic keyboard if you are going to leave it on your desk at home. If you're doing that, just dock the ipad and use a real keyboard. After the magic keyboard failed me, I tried the smart folio. Better, but the keyboard just flops around and you only have two positions. At least it folds back to use as a TABLET which is the main purpose of this over a laptop. But the keys aren't backlit, and there's no trackpad. Done. Finally get the king of these from Logitech, Any position you want, great keys and trackpad, illuminated. It sits in unlimited positions, plus when you don't want the keyboard you pop it off and go, or flip it around and it sits securely on the back while you're on the move. It securely covers the entire ipad, unlike either apple one, and it feels great in the hands. Logitech has a winner here, no wonder apple sells them in store, I'm shocked at how poor the user experience is on the magic keyboard.
