I bought this mattress for car camping as I am tired of crappy air mattresses that do not insulate you from the cold ground. I ordered the 6 inch thick version. It arrived promptly and in excellent condition. Upon opening and letting it fill out to it's full size I couldn't help but laugh. This thing is pretty large! Luckily I have a truck and a large tent. It would be ideal for someone with a large house to use as a spare bed. I say a large house because you have to keep it somewhere when not in use. Which brings me to the idea of a storage bag...it doesn't have one. It really should have one as the cream color velour cover is just asking to get dirty. It is removable which is a plus. I was very impressed that the bottom has a darker, more durable fabric on it. I slept like a baby on it. Very comfortable. I am about 180, so I think 6" is overkill for me. What I wish they made was a mattress about 10 inches narrower, say 28x78x4...still plenty wide for one. Then you could use it solo, or pair two together for when you have a date...or wife. Before you buy, I suggest getting out a tape measure. The mattress when folded up measures 39x26x18 inches....which is quite a big cube and fairly unwieldy without handles or a bag of some sort.
