Very happy!
First off, I am by no means, an expert crafter. In fact, I'm very new to the hobby. I spent quite a bit of time researching before deciding which cutting machine to purchase. I joined social media groups for all the machines, did a lot of reading & watched YouTube videos. (The horror stories related to all the brands were daunting. So much so, that I almost gave up the desire to purchase one.) After weeks of research, I decided on Brother. Once my machine arrived, I opened the box and carefully saved all the packing materials. (Just in case I had to return a broken machine.) Next, I opened up the "Let's Get Started," booklet. Thank you, Brother! This little booklet is a gem! It's just 7 steps from setup to making your first cut. There's so much that you can do with the Brother DX machines and I'm just getting started. Everything, even the software, is a learning process. (If you've used even the simplest photo editing program, you shouldn't have too much of a problem with Brother's Canvas Space.) Everyday, I take my time and learn how to do one new thing. It's not the machine holding me up, it's all the fun things I can do and what materials I need for each craft. So far, I'm completely satisfied with my Brother SDX125 & if anything changes, I'll be sure to update my review as I go along and learn. Now, can someone point me to transfer paper and what kind I need for what I want to do? (See how new I am to the whole crafting business!)
