I am writing this completely objective review for the case without having received the case for free from Caseology. This is purely to provide information to future consumers about this item. Packaging: The case comes professionally packaged in a cardboard unit with a plastic cover to showcase the item. It is firmly packaged so as to prevent any shipping damages and is overall a good protective box. The package contains the case and three pamphlets which detail how to remove the device safely, how to register with Caseology to review future products, and a thank you note with instructions on how to review this product on Amazon. Product: The case colors are close to those depicted in graphic on the Amazon product page. Details are all exactly as shown and shape and dimensions are appropriate as well. Details: This product is composed of two separate parts. First is the TPU portion which is the flexible dark blue portion. This is a sturdy unit and is very clean and polished off with a matte finish. It fits VERY snugly and flush with the gold outer portion. The buttons for the power and volume are a slightly thicker TPU so as to provide ample grip and sensitivity. NOTE: Overall this unit does NOT have too much grip. If you were to place this unit with a device on it facing up (front camera facing up towards the ceiling) on an incline, there is a possibility that it could slide. This is the only reason I did not provide this unit a 5 star rating. It is important that a case be able to protect the phone from accidental drops, but it should also go a little farther and PREVENT a fall from happening in the first place with added grip. Second portion is the matte gold hard plastic case. This unit has very clean cuts for the microphone, speaker, charging port, camera, and other specifications of the Galaxy s6 edge. It's a very polished unit and the crispness of the edges makes it look professionally and properly made as compared to cheaper alternatives. NOTE: This is not a rigid unit. It is quite flimsy as can be seen in the pictures provided. While this isn't a problem with the inner TPU layer, it is something worth considering. HOWEVER, when both pieces are put together, overall the case is quite rigid and holds its shape very well. The gold color is a bit darker than the graphic suggests Overall, this is a great unit. Despite the weak friction between this case and surfaces, it provides a VERY elegant look and does not add unnecessary bulk to the device. It does not weigh a lot so it will not add significant weight to the phone and due to its rigidity, this unit will protect the phone well
