I use this glue for many applications. It is great for repairing plastics or bonding non porous surfaces. Pretty much the only thing you don't want to use it on is pleather, which will peel. This is much more durable than cyanacrylate ("Super Glue" and similar) for most projects because it forms a slightly flexible bond (cyanacrylates form a strong bond, but because it is brittle, it lack durability). Also, unlike some other brands of flexible permanent adhesive, this dries clear (many dry in a yellow-brown color, which is hard to hide). Be careful to clean the treads with a paper towel or scrap of rag before closing the tube, elsewise you won't be able to open it again! For small repairs and applications I also recommend you squeeze a small dot onto a scrap of paper and use a toothpick to apply it...the tube does a messy job even if you get the version with the narrow nozzle, plus it oozes if you leave it open very long. Anyway, overall, the glue works for a lot of things that just can't be glued otherwise, its a great tool for crafters or to have around for little home repairs.
