It works great, but my wife didn't like the smell of fresh oil in the house, so she politely suggested that I move it outside. I of course refused and told her it was going to stay inside. So a few hours later I'm frying shrimp outside and I noticed that oil tended to drip on our concrete patio (mostly my fault). My wife wasn't too fond of that, and suggested that I buy an air fryer instead. I of course refused and told her that I was going to continue cooking with a fry cooker. So now we have an air fryer, and it works OK for fries, but nothing like my deep fryer. If you're looking for the great taste of a deep fryer, this one works great. No complaints. And it looks good sitting inside our lower cabinet by the stove, so there's that.
