I had bought something similar about 10 years ago. They finally bit the dust. My friend gifted me a pair of these for Christmas and they were so reminiscence of the ones i bought previously that i had to buy another pair. For those who say they aren't soft. I find them soft enough when you get higher thread counts you get a crisper feel. That is fine by me because they do soften the more you wash them. If i'm gonna pay a premium price for sheets I want them to last. I had some buttery soft sheets that were lesser thread count and it showed in how quickly they wore out.
