I talked my wife into buying me another tool! She wanted to paint a room in our house so I took her to Home Depot and started loading up the basket with brushes, rollers, pans, tape and plastic sheeting, etc., then pointed out that she has future plans to paint other rooms and for the price of all the junk in the basket we could just buy a sprayer. This would save us time and money in the long run after all. She agreed and this is what we bought. I will say it has a learning curve. The first wall we painted, we painted red, and when we finished, we turned around and realized that everything in our living room, dining room, and kitchen was red. The overspray had been terrible. Luckily it was all just fine red dust and wiped off easily, but we spent several hours dusting, sweeping, and mopping everything. The problem was our inexperience however, a combination of wrong spray power, overfilling the cup, and not being the right distance from the wall. However, it only took about 40 minutes to do about 500 sq. ft. of wall and was the most fun I have ever had painting a wall...
