I purchased this yesterday - delivered today in perfect shape. I purchased this to record my journey through a tough episode in my life. I needed something more special than just a book from the office supply store. This is nice. Leather is not heavy, but fills the bill for a special item for my journey. I think you will be very pleased with your purchase should you order it. It isn't a $100 heavy leather book, but it is sturdy I think and something that fits the bill for my notes.
