I got this after researching the health benefits of food grade diatomaceous earth: silica content good for hair, skin nails; detoxification; eliminating parasites. Directions on the bag say to mix with animal feed as an anti-caking agent. There are cautions, but no mention of other benefits like eliminating insects, or if this is for human use, although it is "food grade." I felt under-informed and wary of using it internally if human use is not specified. Did I get the wrong kind? I read other reviews that it's great for everything, animals and people ... But it should specify this on the packaging. I am now going to investigate the manufacturer's website to make sure before I use it. I may re-review this after experiencing results.
