After having tested every free cookbook app I could find on the market that was compatible with the Kindle Fire, I have effectively eliminated every other app. My Cookbook has a wealth of features that seperate it from the rest of the pack. This is not a recipe search engine like 80% of the competition, but it does include a search engine that can import recipes from web pages with a click of a button. My Cookbook does not come with recipes installed, letting you start your own cookbook instead. It allows you to customize various parts of the app such as theme, search engine, and categories. The free version is supported by adds, but unlike other apps the adds are kept small so they don't get in the way. The paid app is the exact same but without the adds. For a mere $1.99 the paid app is well within any budget, and well worth the investment. The most impressive feature is the ability to scale the ingrediants to serve more or less servings. There is only one feature lacking, a measurement converter. Currently when scaling a recipe that calls for one teaspoon by 50x it converts it to 50 teaspoons instead of its appropriate measurement in cups, etc.
