It's Just What I Needed, Cooking for One
This 5-ingredient Cooking For Two cookbook is exactly what I'm needing during this time of quarantine as a single person. Traditional recipes are customarily designed for 4 servings or more. When cooking for one person, I find that I cannot just automatically cut the recipes in half and expect the same results. It takes a lot more tweaking than that and sometimes I just don't have the brainpower to always play around with a recipe to figure it out. This cookbook takes the guessing game out of the process. I am technically cooking for one not two but I have enough for leftovers or for two servings if it's really good and I want to be greedy. There are 100 recipes included with a great variety of dishes such as classic American fare, timeless Italian meals, and vegetarian meals as well. I give a rating of 4 stars only because of the limited use of photos. There's only one photo at the start of each chapter/category. I love pictures and like to see more of them for the dishes inside. I received as an ARC by Callisto Publishers and I’m leaving an honest review.
