Panasonic RPHC200K Noise Canceling Headphones Black Every time I fly I say I am going to get Noise-Canceling Headphones to reduce the jet engine noise on the flight, but I always procrastinate. I recently took a flight to NYC and this time I swore I was going to buy some. I went to electronic stores to test several models out. The Bose were fantastic, but their price is outrageous. I knew if I spent $300.00 on headphone my wife would pitch a fit, and probably me too. But at least after testing headphones for myself I knew Noise-Canceling technology works. I searched Amazon and studied different models for hours. I finally bought Panasonic RPHC200K headphones because of the reviews, my past great experiences with Panasonic products, and I must admit......the price. I just got back yesterday from NYC and I must say these headphones are absolutely SUPER. When I flipped the switch to engage the Noise-canceling feature it was absolutely amazing how wonderful it was. I watched a movie and played music on my iPhone through them and I couldn't be happier. I couldn't even hear the banging of the beverage cart or the chatter between other customers. And best of all, my wife thinks I made a super purchase getting them at such a reasonable price and wants me to get her a set for the next trip. I am not reporting on audiophile-type sound response here. I didn't buy them for that purpose. I have those already. I bought these headphones for the purpose these are intended; to reduce/eliminate external noise produced by airline engines, traffic, lawnmowers or mother-in-laws. But I must say my music is still pretty darn good playing through these Panasonic Headphones! I highly recommend the Panasonic RPHC200K Noise-Canceling Headphones to anyone who doesn't want to spend an arm and a leg on Bose or some other brand.
