I bought this to record my mother's life stories so that even when she's gone my kids will still be able to hear their Nana's voice. loved that it was user friendly right outof the box. it was mostly charged and ready to use. I love that it is small. It's a bit heavy, which I actually like bceause it's metal and not cheap plastic. I really like the passowrd feature, though the numbers to choose from only go up to 20. I also like that it has a locking feature so you can't accidently erase soemthing while it's in a purse or a pocket. I've only done one recording so far, but the sound is good! When I played back my recording I realized that I actually need to maybe speak a little quieter because I sounded louder than i thought I would. Overall it seems to be a good product and I am happy with my purchase.
