The strap is very sturdy and easily worth the $10 I paid. It barely fits my ankle comfortably, though, and I'm not a heavy guy. If you have large ankles, these won't work. Also, the photo shows two straps, so I just assumed I was getting two mediocre straps for $10. I was, of course wrong. I only ordered one, and that doesn't really work for me. It'll only cost me an extra $2 to pay $10 for another strap (free shipping), and that doesn't really bother me. Just make sure you change the dropdown amount to two straps. Trust me - you want two of these along with a couple of additional 3" carabiner spring snap hooks. Just having one strap can be a pain when you're trying to change from one ankle to another.
