This is a light yellow serum that is lightly hydrating. Works well under makeup and does not pill. I was so excited to see that Naturium launched this serum! If you know a thing or two about good skin care, you would have heard that Niacinamide, tranexamic acid, kojic acid and licorice root are some of the top holy grail ingredients of banishing hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone, which is why I was super excited to see it incorporated all into one convenient serum! Never have I found a serum that has all of these in one, it has made my life so much easier and is friendlier on my budget rather than buying multiple products with these ingredients separately. It is a serum and is lightly hydrating. Leaves a deep glow after patting it in, but for the most part it absorbs. Does not make your skin feel dry at all and has caused no irritation for me. I have oily combo skin and I am suffering from hyperpigmentation and scars from hormonal cystic pimples. A week into using this and I am starting to notice that the lightest of my hyperpigmentation and scars are already fading. I also had a new blemish recently, but it healed and faded much more quickly than it typically would and I think it’s due to this serum. I use this serum morning and night except on days when I want to use my vitamin C serum, then I would only use it at night and my vitamin C serum in the AM. Give it a try and be realistic with it and consistent, I think it is a good serum to keep around and incorporate into my skin routine. Especially if you’re someone who suffers from breakouts and hyperpigmentation. I believe it will greatly help prevent permanent scarring and hyperpigmentation in the long run. Disclaimer: I did not purchase through Amazon, but directly from the Naturium website. Amazon shipping has been taking way too long as of lately. Naturium delivered it to my home within 3 days. Update 11/13/20: I am closed to finishing the bottle, I believe I have 2 weeks worth of product left. I use this twice a day every day! Will Definitely last you 3 months. You only need a dime sized drop to spread around your whole face. So this product is definitely budget friendly. I am now ordering my second bottle, this time of Amazon since I can afford to wait. This definitely has helped the hyperpigmentation I have from new breakouts. They are fading much faster! My face looks much whiter and brighter!
