and I have to say I am really in love with it
I have owned the Cubii for a little over a week so far, and I have to say I am really in love with it. There was a bit of an adjustment period for me getting used to peddling on the Cubii while performing my work tasks, but I found that after this brief period of adjustment I was well on my way to more active sitting (lol). I am a pretty active guy who happens to work a sedentary job as an accountant. Cubii helps to keep me a bit more active while in the office, and to reach my over all body fat reduction/strength training goals. I've lost a pound over the past week, without weight loss even being my goal. I believe Cubii is good for those who are trying to incorporate more activity into their sedentary lifestyles, or who are trying to add another element in reaching their goals for weight loss and overall fitness. I also find the app enjoyable and informative. I discovered with a couple hours of peddling a day I can realistically burn about 200-300 calories. I am certain you can burn significantly more if you put more effort(and peddling time) into it. :) Overall, I really reccomend any office worker give this a shot! **Update5/9/17: I have now owned my Cubii for over a month. My job is mostly sedentary as an accountant so it is nice that I am able to burn an additional 200-300 calories a day that I would not otherwise burn without the Cubii. I was having some knee paid for about a week using it and discovered that it was because I was not sitting close enough to the unit. For those of you who may be experiencing some knee discomfort while using it, it is very likely because you're sitting too far from it, in an awkward angle(too far to to the left or right) or your posture is wrong. I have found that bringing my chair closer to my desk and angling the Cubii to more align with me has fixed that issue. I have dropped a waist size along with 6 pounds since the day I started using Cubii along with my strength training and some modest dietary changes(stopped drinking milk and consuming dairy regularly and less fast food). I also started using Fitbit recently and really like that my activity on Cubii is syncing with Fitbit. It syncs up the step-equivalents I take on to Fitbit and calories burned which is really cool. Unfortunately it does not track active minutes on Cubii and I don't think your Cubii stats end up in the community competition(which they shoud since elliptical, treadmill, cycling, and everything else does). I'll have to put that into Fitbit's community suggesions and would suggest you do too.
