I am a registered nurse working with patients on ventilators. This is exactly the same product that is in use in ICUs. It is completely effective. One review mentioned foggy visibility. The likely reason is that the product directions tell you to remove the temporary protective film on the outside of the visor which protects the visor from scratches during transit. However, there is also a protective film on the INSIDE of the visor, too. This visor can be donned in a second, is comfortable to wear, doesn’t slip, and offers excellent protection when combined with a good mask. Considering that covid-19 can infect a victim by contacting the surface of the eye, a face shield is the standard for eye droplet protection and is also a valuable partner for goggles or any face mask. Remember that N95 masks just block 95% of particles that are 2 microns wide. Covid-19 is 1.25 microns. Granted, the virus is transported on droplets that are much larger so many masks will filter out most of the infectious material, but, with a face shield you may very well have zero droplets reaching your mask or goggles. I fully recommend this product and have purchased a number for my personal use.
