Works for Tinea Versicolor
My 15 year old son has been taking Candida FX for about three weeks, and so far, it seems to be helping. He suffered from Tinea Versicolor on his skin for almost six months. It was initially misdiagnosed by his pediatrician as wring worm and we treated it with every OTC wring worm medicine there is, with no results. Then we went to a dermatologist who diagnosed it as a yeast infection and prescribed an oral anti-fungal once a week for two weeks, along with a prescription ointment. Again, no results. Back to the dermatologist where they scraped his skin and confirmed Tinea Versicolor. They upped the dosage of the oral anti-fungal to once a day for two weeks, and prescribed a VERY expensive ointment ($500/tube). Two weeks later, we saw a very slight improvement, but no much. And since the oral pill is very bad for his liver, and the ointment was so expensive, we decided to try researching online and look for a home remedy. We learned that Tinea Versicolor is caused by a candida overgrowth inside the body. We discovered that he needed to stop eating sugar, and anything that is converted to sugar, such as simple carbs. We learned that he needed probiotics, and that natural substances such as oregano oil and black walnut hull oil can kill candida without damaging his liver. We found Candida FX, and this has all of the ingredients that we wanted. We are supplementing the Candida FX with another probiotic that has a 50 billion count per dose. We did this because a naturopathic doctor in our area told us that he needed to get his 'good bacteria' count up into the 10's of billions. So far, after only a few weeks of taking Candida FX and the stronger probiotic, and following a strict diet, his Tinea Versicolor has gotten MUCH better. It is not gone yet, but I plan to give him this same combination for at least two months, and maybe three. The improvement is already way better than he had from the expensive and dangerous prescription drugs that the dermatologist prescribed. As a side note, before he began his diet and Candida FX, I called the dermatologist and asked what they thought about it. I was told that it wouldn't help, and that he should just stick with his meds for a longer period of time. I'll be honest, I have pretty much lost faith in our medical system in this country. It seems like all they want to do is push certain drugs, and not really cure the problem at all. The pharmaceutical companies are the biggest drug dealers in our country and the doctors are their pushers.
