Non-electrical sanding is stupid now
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I CAN FIX EVERYTHING *Blacks out and DIY's my whole entire house* I spent 2 hours hand-sanding paint/spackle off my door for sanding, with no research or prep, and got 1/3 of it completed. Afterwards, all the shoes (ALL THE SHOES), bikes, wall moldings, plants, etc in my hallway - and the floor above mine -- were covered in sawdust. In a fit of frustration, I bought a power sander because I saw "Vacuum." It came in the mail super quickly, and I ignored it for a few days because I was so disheartened. But I finally did it -- and in 30 mins the DOOR WAS FINISHED. I lay down tarp to be safe and there was barely any need because the vaccuum sucked up most of the dust. Some still got around and lingered in the air, but not nearly as much as before. Electric vacuum sanders are magic. They make you feel powerful. I can do anything by myself. I highly recommend; don't sand anything with your bare hands again.
