I am a size 4-6, so ordered a small. They fit just fine, and to me they're not thin at all, but rather thick. I purchased two pair to wear with tankini tops for swimming. The slits on the sides of the legs keep them from buckling up around the knees, a I feature I like. Next week I'm vacationing in HI, and will afterwards give an update on how they worked out (I haven't worn them wet yet).
