This UV LED lamp is made from cheap shiny plastic outer casing. It has what looks like little yellow LED lights underneath. I questioned whether or not it would work at all with the GELLEN nail polish set I purchased. Plugged it in and WOW was I surprised. It automatically starts an upward counting timer when you insert your hand. If you press any of the pre-timed buttons, it starts when you insert your hand. The timer pauses and light turns off when you move your hand out. Definitely worth taking the chance on this product. If you receive a dud, Amazon will accept your return with no problem.
