...the design is beautiful, build quality, finish, etc. are all great. The slow close mechanism works great. The collar to secure the bag is the best I've seen. I had to drop to four stars because of one seemingly trivial detail. The sticker that was adhered to the can was absolutely awful. I tried very slowly and carefully to peel it off. It shredded and the parts that did come off left glue residue. My go to adhesive remover is "Goo Gone gel". It had little effect even after soaking in for 15 minutes. Then I tried isopropyl alcohol, vinegar, enamel reducer. I used paper towels, no abrasives, as I didn't want to damage the finish. I eventually laid the can down flat and returned to the Goo Gone and let it sit for 30 minutes. I finally was able to get it off with 4 cycles of cleaning and reapplying and finally cleaning off with a degreaser. All told, I spent over 90 minutes (45 minutes were waiting for the solvent to work) removing the sticker and there is still residue in the grain of the metal. BTW, note to marketing, there was no information on that sticker that was valuable to my purchase. All the info was elsewhere and had been acquired.
